Malachi 4:
1. "For behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven, and all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up,'' says the Lord of hosts, "that will leave them neither root nor branch.
2. But to you who fear My name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; and you shall go out and grow fat like stall-fed calves.

Even though we may feel that "the day" spoken of here is the final day of judgement, the Bible also talks about the day in another context:
2 Corinthians 6 : 2.
For He says: "In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you.'' Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
NKJV

"The day" referred to here is the vital day of salvation.
The day of salvation is the day when I ask the Lord Jesus, the Saviour, to forgive my sin; preserve me from harm, danger and all other evils; and set my life on the course for which God allowed me to be born in the first place.

God always wants the day of salvation to come into our lives before the day of judgement.
However, He leaves the choice up to us.
If we choose to come to Him now for salvation, then we need not fear the day which is coming "burning like an oven", because Malachi 4 : 2 tells us:
2. But to you who fear My name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; and you shall go out and grow fat like stall-fed calves.

The Sun of Righteousness is the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, who is coming with healing for all the fears inside us.

Prayer:
Father, today I choose to seek You for salvation to work deeply in my life.
I want to reverence You so that on the day of judgement for me "the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings".
Lord Jesus, thank You for being my Sun of Righteousness today,
